Vibe Dispatch Hilton Head Island by Ray Ray

Although it was only a day trip, Hilton Head Island continues to be one of the weirdest place on earth. For those who have never been to Hilton Head

Vibe Dispatch 2012 minus 5 years

For those of you unfamiliar with Mayan prophecies, December 21st 2012 marks the end date of the Mayan calendar that was created over 5000 years ago. According to prophecy, on that date the sun will align with the center of our galaxies Milky Way, an event that happens every 26000 years.

The Obama street team really has it together here. Happened to be out on a nice winters afternoon through the city today and all I can say is they got it together here as far a maximizing on the coverage. Team Hillary has a cluster of volunteers with signs working the exit ramp into the city… same ole same ole. Obama’s street team has the banner signs posted strategically on the I 95 over passes. A quick walk into downtowns Trinity plaza and you see another volunteer on an intersection island with a huge banner, one side tied to a street sign and the other half propped up by him as he waves to passing cars and fields the friendly horn beeps.

Vibe Dispatch - John McCain

Ok I've been watching the primaries since the start in Iowa and I am just baffled as to what the GOP base sees in McCain. Just six months ago this guy was out of money and had to resort to flying commercial. His bumbling rhetoric is just a continuation of the same old Bush garbage (Stay the Course!) and heck even Rush Limbaugh rags on him on a daily basis. And like I'm really impressed by the fact that Joe Lieberman stands behind him as his right hand man, trying to pull off some kind of phony across the aisle bipartasianship. Hell, even Hillary could do better than than. I think back to the 2000 election when Bush bumbled his way through the primaries. However, what was different back then, was that Bush did have an electability factor going for him.

We read a lot about the drought in the South but most of the big reservoirs lay outside of the urban/suburban radar.

North Myrtle Beach Dream Deja Vu

About two weeks ago I had one of those dreams in which there is some kind of symbol that stands out and makes a mark on your memory. This dream involved a lighthouse on a canal or waterway attached to some kind of club or banquet facility in a dense condo community reminiscent of the Truman Show. Well fast forward to yesterday afternoon.

Vibe Dispatch Costa Rica- from Jim

Very dangerous, recommend another country. I lived in CR for 5 years and left as I no longer felt safe. Had 6 guys jump me and hit me in the head with a pipe at 4 in the afternoon on a main street. All my friends have experienced home invasions and the Police are getting shot weekly.

Vibe Dispatch Grand Bahama by F&B Guy

Here we go again with the Island theme. I am fortunate enough to work for a
company that has a property on the west end of Grand Bahama Island. I have
been sent down to do some staff training at our resort here. All the
people are very friendly (although they may be a little intimidated by my
presence)but still the overall vibe here is very good. I went into the

Digging the Obama Vibe

Been very busy working on the nuts and bolts of the backend of this site to really sit down and write anything. This whole experience has been quite a learning curve for me so it has taken some time away from what I really want to do with this venture is: write and edit.

Vibe Dispatch- 2008 Election

If there’s any way to sum up how I feel about this subject it would be APATHY. This coming from a former political junkie who used to eat up the 24/7 news cycle like candy. Maybe it’s just seven years of Bush follies combined with watching a field of candidates banter for the past year and a half. The fact of the matter is that I’m just not feeling the Hope? Even back in 04 when the Democrats were railroading Kerry through the primaries as the nominee, there was a sense of Hope.
